Shir Ha-Ma'alot

We are honored to serve as the co-presidents of Congregation Shir Ha-Ma’alot. On behalf of the Board of Trustees, it is our pleasure to extend a very warm welcome to all of you who are visiting our website.

We are a community – we are here for one another in times of joy and sorrow or sometimes to just enjoy being with one another.  We celebrate births and we watch our children stand on the bima and chant their torah portions.  When a member passes on, we take time to mourn their death and celebrate their life. We smile at Purim and we enjoy conversations at an oneg.  During all of these times, we want our community to be there with us. We are your other family – the one that you have chosen.

We are grateful to our members whose good deeds do not go unnoticed, to our staff who are talented, dedicated, and hardworking, our board of trustees who generously give of their time and expertise and, of course, our clergy who motivate us and serve as our guides along life’s paths. Let us continue to create a community of caring. Let us be the example and let us show the world that we can build something together that makes a difference in each of our lives.

We invite you to come and experience our community by visiting us at a Shabbat service or at one of our events. We hope that you will want to join with us on our journey of a ‘lifetime of belonging’!
