Dear Friend,   Thank you for entering our web site.  When you come to our synagogue, you enter a sanctuary of support, friendship, learning and community.  Our motto is that “one should feel better when they leave Temple than when they walked in.”  Now that you have seen us on the

web site, please know that our doors are wide open for you to experience Jewish life to its fullest.

Our name, “Shir Ha-Ma’alot,” means “A Song of Ascents.”  This is an apt description of us as we sing our way through valleys and peaks of our lives together.  We share a melody that runs through the body, mind and soul so as to transform child and adult alike into the people they wish to be.

 The Torah teaches, “Love thy neighbor as thyself.”  We enjoy our community and would love to have you come share with us the warm, friendship and kindness that abides through all that we do.  To be a synagogue, we must indeed love our neighbors to be that holy community for which we strive.  Join us to create that holy place and space!
