Jessica Herron Adopt-A-Family Thanksgiving Project Sunday, November 22nd Food collection 10:15am-12:15 pm
The families chosen for this program come from the poorest areas of Orange County. There are hundreds of needy families from our inner city schools, community programs and Jewish organizations. The families chosen for this program are truly the poorest of the working poor.
Please use the shopping list as your guide for purchasing the food items. If you would like to purchase additional items or “goodies” such as sweets, they would be greatly appreciated. EXTRA FROZEN TURKEYS ARE ALWAYS NEEDED!!! You may purchase large bags of frozen chicken pieces instead of the turkey. If you would prefer, you may purchase a gift certificate at Ralphs or Vons, or make a monetary donation. $75-$80 feeds one family.

Food will be collected and distributed on Sunday, Nov. 22, (the Sunday before Thanksgiving). Please bring your donations to the synagogue between 10:15am-12:15pm on that day. We will have volunteers in the temple parking lot to unload your car.
Thank you for your generosity, caring and involvement. If you have any questions, please contact: Barbara King at frombking@cox.net or Dana Klein at nevatolate@aol.com
