BOOM SHAKA LATKE

Get ready for a high-energy Chanukah morning packed with shopping, bites, and fun. This is open to all SHM members of all ages, with kids and without, and a great opportunity to get ready for Chanukah!

This fun, new event includes the Maccabee Market, a chance to shop early for Chanukah presents for your family, as well as a wrapping station for your bought Chanukah presents, and areas for age-appropriate Chanukah treats (Latkes and Sufganiyot).

Schedule of Events

At 9:30 AM, the Maccabee Market opens so anyone can choose from a mix of affordable gifts for family and friends while others are from a curated group of vendors offering Judaica, ceramics, handmade menorahs, and more,  with a range of prices. There will be an area for you to wrap your Chanukah presents, and more.

The backyard will transform into a kids’ party with edible dreidel making station, crafts, and inflatable attractions.

Up front, adults can relax at our “fancy” latke & donut bar, making it easy to grab a bite, mingle, and stay festive.

While you're at the Boom Shaka Latke event, check out the Jessica Herron Caring and Sharing Program, where our students will be gift wrapping donated gifts as part of the Jessica Herron Caring and Sharing Program.
