This session we will have a potluck offsite!

The annual in-person potluck is always a favorite for L&L Group participants. Aside from the delicious food and socializing, this year will also include an optional informal discussion on the lived experiences of some members of our group. Address and info for the potluck signup will be sent via email before the event by Wendy Worrell. 

Facilitated by Wendy Worrell, this virtual social action group meets once a month to create a welcoming space for open, respectful conversations about different viewpoints. Together, the group aims to better understand diverse cultures, experiences, and histories by reading books or watching documentaries that highlight voices from people with lived experience.

Each topic usually includes two meetings: the first uses the book or documentary to kick off discussion and build understanding, and the second gives time to reflect, share insights, and explore the Jewish perspective with help from our clergy. Join for just one topic or stay involved all year!
