SHM CIVIC ENGAGEMENT SERIES PRESENTS:
EDUCATE, ENGAGE & MOTIVATE

As Jews we know it is our obligation to engage with the world outside our synagogue walls.  This speaker series will help us understand how Orange County government operates, how it affects us, and how we can get involved.  Moderated by Rabbi Steinberg, this 4-part series explores the role that Orange County Government plays in our lives. 

Come and learn with us and become more civically engaged Orange County Jews.


Join us for our first two sessions with Frank Kim, Orange County Executive Officer to discuss the role of the County Board of Supervisors and with Dr. Al Mijares, County Superintendent of Schools to discuss the impact of the County Board of Education.

The Board of Supervisors makes decisions, both directly and indirectly, that have considerable impact on our community and our daily lives.
