Membership

Belonging to Shir Ha-Ma'alot is like having an extended family - where we pray, sing, learn, laugh and support one another! Our membership reflects a wide variety of perspectives, religious and cultural backgrounds. We welcome Jews from all backgrounds. There is a place for everyone at Shir Ha-Ma'alot. We strive to serve the needs of singles and families, young and not-so-young, empty nesters, special needs, Jews of all races, Jews-by-choice, intermarried, unaffiliated, and those searching for a more meaningful Jewish life.

 

In 2018, Shir Ha-Ma’alot celebrated 50 years of being a vibrant, progressive and Reform Jewish community affiliated with the Union for Reform Judaism. Our SHM family has grown to over 675 members and enjoys more than 500 programs and activities including a broad set of worship experiences, educational opportunities, and religious and community outreach programs.
